View Full Version : I know this show started in late '79, but, boy, some of these characters were so 80s.

I remember loving the show, Benson, and growing up with it. Man, great 80s flashback. If had to choose, I would choose Governor Eugene, Miss Kraus, Pete, Marcy, and snooty Clayton. Hehehehe.......oh, man...this show rocked. What memories. Sitting and watching at the old T.V set and laughing at Miss Kraus' snide remarks(Put a sock in it, Benson). Man, I must be rambling...but I loved this show.

Well, if you guys had to choose and know this was from another, which character you thought was very 80s in character and dress mode? Just that this show brings me back to the decade itself.

Katie....watch the later eps and see some of the stuff she wears (and the hairstyles). She is definitely 80s! :D

Well you'd have to figure the women (Katie and Kraus) would be more 80s because the men just wore suits for the most part anyway, and many of those suits are timeless.

Kind of weird seeing James Noble as a dentist from "10"...LOL:lol: And I gotten so use to him as the Govenor, but when I see 10, I always thought he is going to bring one of his stories up.:talk: "You know, Benson...."

One thing for sure...sharp suits, though.

I can't wait to see more Benson episodes. Before watching Season 1 on DVD, the last time I'd seen these episodes was in syndication in the mid-late 1980s. I have seen some later cast pictures - Missy Gold looked even more 1980s than her sister!!
