Aol 7.0

Has anyone else downloaded this? I downloaded it last night and it took forever! But I deleted it this morning because it sucks! Its not worth the time downloading. Hardly anything on it is new. I dont recomend it. Anyone else get it yet?

I think AOL just sucks in general. It takes forever to download stuff. It freezes up on me all the time. I'm always getting error messages. It's incredably slow. I hate it!

I still have 5.0 because 6.0 didn't work on my comp for some reason...but I don't see why they keep coming out with new ones because there is nothing new about them!

ditto. Personally, I liked 4.0 above all. It never kicked me off and it was fast. But now I have 6.0 and I hate it.

I Used to Have 6.0, then my computer crashed and my family was back to 4.0 for two weeks. I HATED IT! Everytime I opened up a website, the site took longer then 3 minutes to load. Now I have 5.0, which seems just as good as 6.0!

I had 7.0 long time ago, then there was an error on it, and i had to delete it but now i have 6.0 i tryed 8.0 "beta" but that screwed my computer up after i downloaded it, and that aint gonna happen again.
Now i got aol 6.0 and it's working ALOT Better :) And yes when you download AOL it take's FOREVER!*!*!*

I've always said it, AOL is all junk. It was the first provider that I tried and I was always having problems with it. The last version I tried, I think it was 3.0 or something like that. As you can see, I stopped using it a looooong time ago.

I then switch to AT&T and it was great, no problem whatsoever. The log in time was always in 40 seconds or less. It worked beautifully. Until I got a more new and faster computer and I started to have lots of problems with it (it was disconnecting excessively). Don't get me wrong; I don't think it was AT&T with the problem. I think it was the modem in the new computer not having the right configuration, because AT&T worked beautifully with my old computer.

I now use Road Runner High Speed Internet. Nowadays, there’s no more waiting. Everything is a flash (except when the cable signal is down, which is rare). So, I do think AT&T is way better than AOL. But the best is Broadband. Thank heaven for high speed Internet. ZIP

I don't like AOL 7.0. I think AOL 5.0 is the grandest one of them all, followed by AOL 6.0. But 7.0 just sucks. *Barfs* Er it messed up my computer after I got it, but the other two worked perfectly for me. For some reason I rarely got kicked off and I usually got on by the second try. If everyone hates AOL so much, why do people use it more then any other provider? Right now I have CompuServe because it came free for a year on this computer, but in January when it runs out I'm going to go back to AOL 5.0.

I think the main reason that many people use it is because all the advertisement and media hype. You always see the commercials saying, "So easy to use. Everybody's using it. Instant message your buddies and family." (Or something to that effect) They drill into people's minds all those messages so much that people buy it. Also, since most people are not computer experts, they like to hear "easy to use, just plug in and you're all set."
