Hi All,
Does anyone remember in the early to late 80's, the late night Elvira movies? They showed classic "bad" B-grade horror movies and during commercials, (and sometimes during the movie) Elvira would pop up onscreen and make funny jokes about the movie! I saw "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" on "Elvira's Movie Macobe" (The Series name) Does any station still run this late-night cult classic where any of you guys live? We should contact the Sci-Fi channel or some cable station that would be interested in bringing the series back! (It was better than Mystery Science Theature 3000 IMO) It was always on Saturdays at usually midnight or 1 in the morning on our local station here and always showed cheesy horror films. In addition to "Killer Tomatoes" it also showed stuff like:
The Meateater
The Godsend (an Exorcist rip off)
Scitzoid
and many other B-grade films. IMO I'd rather watch something like that on late Saturday nights than Nick at Nite's sorry new excessive "double-take line up" or the stupid infomercials! BRING BACK MOVIE MACOB WITH ELVIRA!
