I found this on YouTube is a clip from the TV special honoring Mickey Mouse on his 60th brithday back in 1988. Mickey does appeared on that special with the cast from "Family Ties". Michael Gross does not appeared on that special. It was aired as part of the "Magical World of Disney". Thanks to OpieAnthonyXMRadio for that awesome clip. This was made outside of its final season. Enjoy!

Yes, I taped that show when it originally aired. I still have it on VHS. It also
featured the casts of CHEERS and L.A. LAW and several other stars (including John Ritter, Carl Reiner, Phylicia Rashad, Cheech Marin, and Ed McMahon).

I don't have it on VHS, because I remember seeing that special for the first time. It was from November 13, 1988. I was 10 years old at the time that I saw it. I used to have my cassette recorder with me to record myself when my TV was on hearing the "Mickey 60th Birthday" special taken from my home recording.
As I mentioned before that Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter-Birney are not shown in that special. That special was precieded by "Family Ties", because it was the middle of the final season until the show comes to a close in 1989. I had the theme song on my home tape recorder after I record "Mickey's 60th Birthday" on cassette. I've seen it on my old Samsung 13' black & white TV since my parents bought an apartment in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn where it is in the projects. It was at 93 Centre St., Apartment 5A. That's where we used to live until 1992, a year after my dad died.
"Family Ties" on "Mickey's 60th Birthday" brought back so many moments. Great to see it on YouTube. It was a 45-minute special, but YouTube split-up into 8 parts.
