Candice Bergen suffers stroke

HOLLYWOOD - Boston Legal star Candice Bergen has been released from the hospital and is recovering from an apparent stroke, according to media reports.
The blonde actress reportedly received prompt treatment when she fell ill and avoided lingering damage.

According to veteran Hollywood columnist Janet Charlton, the 60-year-old Bergen is expected to make a full recovery.

Hospital employees claim the former Murphy Brown star was in good spirits and say she was a "delightful and humorous" patient during her hospital stay.

Same here, Julie. No clue how I missed this the first time around. I hope she's okay. Great lady. I felt bad when she was widowed so young.

She looks outstanding - I'd never guess she was in her early 60's. But, she always looked great as long as I've seen her on television. She truly is a great woman, and a great actress.
