For me the production of this show needs to take a lession for Happy Days. Brad is great in front of an audience, and yet this shw lacks one. The pilot was boring and did not use the talents of the cast. The three main cast members are relativly well known and have great resumes. This show has potiental if only they would get the right people behind the scenes.

It is great though to see the exterior sets from I Dream of Jeannie (originally built for the Blondie movies of the 1940s) and the set from The Partridge Family.

This show needs help quickly!

I thought the "Pilot" Episode was very good, and that it was a very good show. I can't wait to see next weeks episode.

Hmmm. Let's take Robert from Everybody Loves Raymond, make him a more cynical and nasty version and have him married for many years to a Debra-like character.

I kept waiting for this show to get funny...it didn't happen.

I know most shows take a season or so to find their creative feet, but this pilot episode gave me no signs of hope. I'll give this show a couple more viewings, but if it doesn't significantly improve...CLICK!

I agree. This show did absolutely nothing for me. I expected much better. Fox promoted the heck out of it and unfortunately, the hype blew away the content. I also will give this show a few weeks to change my mind.

It's hard to judge a show from just one episode. But I have to agree that the
wife did remind me a lot of Ray Barone's wife Debra on EVERYBODY LOVES
RAYMOND. (Ironically enough, the local Fox channel here airs RAYMOND
immediately before 'TIL DEATH.)

I enjoyed it and laughed at a few things but I know it's not gonna be a classic...

I think Fox will keep it for atleast a second season as I don't see Free Ride or Happy Hour going anywhere...

PLEASE give the show a chance it was only one eps. I thought that the show wasn't bad at all. People just get so use too an actor or an actress playing one caracter and can't see them playing nobody else. Before the new show even airs on TV the public has already rejected it in there minds already. This kind of stuff damaged alot of very telented actors and actress careers. Give it a chance, see what else this talented actor Brad Garrett can do. Robert's not real but Brad is!

I am willing to give Brad's new show a chance. However, the pilot was so unfunny and cynical that it makes me wonder if I should bother watching it again.

I understand that most new shows need a season or so before they figure out what works and what doesn't before they hit their creative stride, but usually there's something in a good pilot that makes you want to watch some more.

I'm a Simpsons fan, but I don't really care for episodes from the first two seasons. Compared to what would come later, they don't measure up very well. However, at the time they originally aired, there was something about them that made me want to keep coming back week after week.

I'll give Brad's new show a few more watchings, but if it doesn't show some sign of getting better, I'm not going to bother watching beyond that.
