Peace Out!

Teddy: Hey, I'm making you an offer you can't refuse.

Jinny: Look, you know who I am, OK? You know who my family is. Why do you even wanna be with me at all?
Teddy: Because, I love you.

Jinny: Basically, people are who people are. Your born, you die pretty much the same person. All the rest is just window dressing.

This is an easy one, even though I didn't get to see the end of it, not I am emotianally scared for life, but I shall tell you... "A Cry for Help: The Tracey Thurman Story".

Just think of me as a short version of a tall person.

On April 24, 2008, Dana and I are going to meet in LA and handcuff ourselves to Nancy McKeon and Jay Harrington, and you're not. Ahahaha!

Jinny: Oh, come on, folks, please, don't be shy. Apparently anyone is welcome to crap all over me tonight, so please, step right on up!

Notice: If you copy me, I will be forced to send you to the outermost reigons of the pig where you will suffer miserably, for I am Jinny: Queen o' the Pigs and Penguins!

"'Cause your everywhere to me. When I close my eyes, it's you I see, and everything I know that makes me believe, I'm not alone. I'm not alone." -"Everywhere" by Michelle Branch

That was indeed a good movie (Nancy did an excellent job of portraying Tracey Thurman...), but how can you take seeing that movie more than once? That movie gave me the chills more than any other I have seen.

I have wanted to see A Cry For Help for sooo long. My TV went out when it was on Lifetime before, and I don't have LMN. Hopefully my sister will remember to tape it for me tomorrow (she has LMN).

Hmm, I don't really know. I like the movie The Princess Bride.

------------------
"I do like the show.... It's fun to do. I like the character of Charity because she's so hopeful. She's never bitter. There's plenty of things that happen to her that could make her bitter. But she always thinks tomorrow's going to be beautiful. And someday it will be."
- Gwen Verdon

"The advertisements for the show say 'Gwen Verdon as Sweet Charity.' Note that as 'as.' Not 'starring in' or just plain 'in' or even 'in the new musical,' but 'as.' She is that girl. She is Sweet Charity and forever will be."

Are you sure that 'Don't Tell Mom, the Babysitter's Dead' is an 80's movie? I'm pretty sure it was made in '92.

I grew up with the Monster Squad! I know what you mean about feeling like you're the only one who's ever heard of that movie. I used to rent it all the time at the local videostore until it closed down( stupid Blockbuster...). Anyway, the song during the credits is actually "The Monster Squad". I tried downloading it, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Mossopp- JoPo wannabe was right posting 1985 as the year Goonies came out. So, there you have your answer.

Let's see here....(no particular order)

1.) The Goonies
2.) The Dark Crystal (has anyone else seen this movie? I'm sure someone has....
3.) Back to the Future
4.) Ferris Bueller's Day Off
5.) The Princess Bride
6.) Clue

oh and duh!
7.) The Empire Strikes Back (still the best of all SW flicks)
8.) Return of the Jedi
9.) Raiders of the Lost Ark
10.) Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
11.) Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
12.) E.T.
13.) The Ewok Adventure
14.) Ewoks: The Battle for Endor (I know that supposedly die-hard SW fans aren't supposed to like the Ewoks, but get over yourself, I say. They are cute fuzzy things and I, being in fact quite fond of cute fuzzy things, liked 'em when I was a kid. I don't think I would qualify as a die-hard SW fan anyway. I mean I like it, but I'm not overly-obsessed.)
15.) Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
16.) Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan
17.) Young Sherlock Holmes
18.) The Little Mermaid
19.) Oliver and Company
20.) The Secret of Nimh

I'm sure I'll be back to add more... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
