I'm going thru alot of old beta tapes of this series, which I religiously watched on Monday nights back when I was in high school and does anyone have a audio clip of the complete theme to the series? I know during the opening credits its just a piano playing but during the closing credits you only hear part of the theme song being song which gets cut off because the CBS announcer says, (my editorial comments) "next on Newhart Daryl and Daryl finally speak and then on Cagney & Lacey, Mary Beth and Chris get mistaken for prostitutes and are arrested even though they were undercover...next on CBS", then the rest of the theme song comes back on. If I was the writer or singer of that song I'd be pissed that my theme song was never heard uninteruppted if that makes any sense?
