Another episode that I've never forgotten and don't remember all the details is the very early ep about an older (55-65) couple that lived out in the country (near a lake or pond or something) and the man was out of the house and when he came back his wife was gone.
There was food cooking on the stove (?), the front door was open, the woman's purse and personal belongings were still in the home and there was no sign of her.
The police suspected the husband of foul play because of his lack of emotions and that he was not real helpful about his wife and he talked about her like she was a piece of furniture or something.
I thought I had seen an update or something that within a couple of years the husband re-married and that the police arrested him and charged him with the death of his wife (supposedly dropping her in the bottom of the lake behind their house) and he confessed and was sentenced to a few years in prison.
Does anyone else remember this episode? It has been driving me nuts for years.
