View Full Version : Which would you rather see TV Land renew?
Two TV Land sitcoms are expiring later this year. The Munsters in October and Happy Days in December. Which would you rather them renew?
I'll go for The Munsters

The Munsters. Even though I have both seasons of the show, and there is only 70 episodes, I like that the show has prescence on TVLAND. It's also from the '60s and there aren't many of those around anymore.
I can't get in to Happy Days.

Happy Days because WGN will not be airing it come this fall and only season one is on DVD. Both seasons of The Munsters are on DVD.

are you saying that WGN Contract with Happy Day's is going to expire in September of 2006
Oh no, Happy Days leaving WGN? Not good. Well, there goes another channel down the drain I guess. I emailed them a while back and they said they had the rights for a few more years, so hopefully it would return....Pavan..which one do you think they would be more inclined to renew??

It is just leaving the schedule, yes WGN does have rights for a few more years. I will be posting WGN's fall schedule in a week or two, when the time is right. As for other older shows, Rockford Files is also leaving...Homicide is joining though.
As for TV Land, I don't know which they will renew. It could be none, lol.

Happy Days If either but I would rather see some shows that haven't been see in awhile, either 70' (Alice, Barney Miller, L&S, MTM, Maude, M&M, The Odd Couple, ODAAT or WKRP) or 80's (Amen, Dear John, GAB, K&A, Mr. Belvedere, Newhart or TCFC) just to name a few, lol
Pav speaking of upcoming schedules, do you have any others coming for us soon? ("I" please?)

Instead of renewing "The Munsters" and "Happy Days", TVLand should acquire "Mister Ed" and "Carol Burnett And Friends". I would love to see these two shows back on the TVLand schedule.
