First of all, I can't believe the board for this show hasn't had a post since January! I am relatively new to it, but used to love Hugh Laurie as a comedian on Britcoms like "Blackadder". Very impressed with his ability to lose his accent and play it straight with huge doses of megalomania and well-placed sarcasm! And the medical mysteries are always so compelling.
Now to my questions--in the episode last night involving the former medical school classmate whom House was trying to discredit, was the "migraine medicine" the guy had developed actually LSD (at least in the bottle House was using)? I think I blinked and missed something--if it was not, where did House get the drugs? Was that how the other guy evened the score with House? Is it medically realistic that LSD relieves migraines, and that anti-depressants cut a "trip" short? I can't imagine they would put such info out there--I have migraines, but have never been so desperate as to seek illegal help for them. I can imagine some people might, though....
