Trish Stratus to leave the WWE

This according to Dave Meltzer:

- Trish Stratus is not expected to sign a new contract. Her current one expires in August and, as planned, she will be taking time off in September after she marries her long-term boyfriend. However, she would like to pursue an acting career, which doesn't mix well with the hectic WWE schedule. At 30 years-old, she feels that it is now or never.

Doesn't surprise me. I was kind of expecting that she'd leave soon. I wish her the best, but I don't think she'll make it in Hollywood. I always thought her acting and voice in WWE storylines were horrible, so I can't really see her playing much more than eye candy roles. Who knows though, I may be wrong.
