Yes, I being one of your fellow Star Trek nerds here, knew of this already. They are going to kick off their new line-up with a week long marathon of TNG plus some of the movies. TNN also bought the rights to DS9 and VOY, which they are going to show sometime in the future. Which makes me happy to know that someone somewhere sometime down the line will be airing Voyager again. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

You must be a bigger Trek fan than I because I knew none of that stuff.
I wonder, did you see the Original Series in 1966 or are you a new Trekie? I became a fan in 1998.

Well the only reason I knew all that stuff was that I read it in Star Trek Communicator while I was waiting on my mom at the bookstore.
I am too young to have watched ST back in 1966 (wasn't even born yet!). I am a relatively new fan of Star Trek.
Little back story: 2 years ago I moved into an apartment with 4 Star Trek fans. I had seen Star Trek before (my dad likes it) but I was not a big fan at all. In fact, I rather disliked the show. However, in my new apartment, I was severely outnumbered. It was basically understood that the big TV downstairs was going to be tuned into Star Trek Voyager at 7PM on weekdays (reruns) and at 9PM Wednesdays (new episodes). Seeing as how I eat dinner around this time, I begrudgingly began to watch the show. And what do ya know, after like a week I was hooked. I fell hard for all things Star Trek, watched reruns avidly (sadly the only reruns I ever got to see were of Voyager and occassionally TOS, hence I have seen every episode of Voyager and about half of TOS.)
Voyager is probably my favorite of the series, (I was sooo sad when it ended, and BITTER and ANGRY about certain aspects of how it ended....but I digress!) but then I haven't seen too much of the other series.
But now I am very happy that TNG will be airing regularly since I have only seen maybe 20 episodes of it, if that. Don't care much for DS9, but I usually watch it if it's on, which it rarely is.
