I don't know but I was glad to see it make the list, even at 10. :D

Speaking of the marathon, do we have any idea how good the ratings were?

I think so. The fact that Facts of Life didn't make the top ten tells me that who would have even thought of Benson unless it was in their face. I want to know what 15 choices were given for this poll.

Still FOL is not a Top Ten spinoff, I would actually put it on my Worst Spinoff List either

..."TV LAND'S TOP TEN" was produced BEFORE they got the rights to add "BENSON" to their schedule. Why else would they only show brief scenes from the pilot and one other episode featuring Rene Auberjonois? Because it cost MONEY to "rent" those precious clips from Sony, that's why. If they had produced it "now", they would have had a better representation of excerpts to choose from. They didn't even use ANY of the excerpts from "HAPPY DAYS" and "MORK & MINDY" to illustrate why the latter was chosen as one of those "top ten"!! Cheap, cheap, cheap........
