Anyone Use the newsgroups?

I have been using EasyNews and have been able to get quite a few fan made dvd sets of current shows. Unfortunately I am missing the last discs for the following shows, if anyone has got these please pm me

24 Season 5 Eps 17-24
Lost Season 2 Eps 13 to finish
Smallville Season 5 eps 19 - finish

Have you been using the NZB filing system to get your discs
or just going through the lists?

NZB files make things a whole lot easier to find when it
comes to the Usenet system.

Never used NBZ

Is it a downloadable software or do i have to buy it somewhere?

It's not software. What it is is a filing system that was developed to make
finding binaries on Usenet easier.

A lot of the new usenet programs use them to load up the files for
downloading the binaries.

that's a great link to explain how to use NZB files and some of the
software that's available that uses it to get files from usenet groups.
If you decide to do this (and if you're using usenet for any type of
file download I highly recommend it) then I would go ahead and invest
in one of the NZB sites. most of them are like 5 dollars a month and
list just about all the files that are available for indexing/download.
Saves you hundreds of hours to just be able to click, load and repeat.

it's very similar to Torrenting only difference is that instead of pulling
from multiple seeds it is only one seed (same as you would when you're
already pulling files from usenet).

It's definitely worth it. Especially for some of the homemade discs that
you find in different places.
