They were poor though, so I can understand. I'm not poor, and personally, I've bought really nice clothes to wear to my loved one's funerals, and I wore them again.

Most men would wear a suit again, I think.

is that the first time the dress was worn? she may have bought it for the funeral and of course being financially in dire straits wore the dress again. It wasn't a pure black dress, so i can see her wearing it again.

Was the dress black at all? I only saw the episode once, but I thought it was odd that Florida didn't wear black. I could have sworn it was sort of olive colored. I'm probably wrong.

You're right. Florida's dress wasn't black, but I cannot remember what color it was either.

Thank you. I am surprised that she didn't wear black. That's sort of traditional for widows, at least where I live.
