wow, I guess they cast her as an older woman because she had two kids. The boy had to be 10 years old at least.

Yeah, I started reading her book, Marilu Henner's Total Health Makeover, because I liked her show and her dietary ideas sounded interesting. In the book she talks about how her weight went up and down, etc., until she adapted the habits in the book. The more I got into the book though, the more I started wondering "When the heck was this woman fat?" Show Me The Fat! The only photos of her being overweight in the book are of her being pregnant (which doesn't count) and a really blurry photo of her face as a teenager.

My book review aside though - She looks fantastic!

Marilu was definitely the hottest redhead ever on tv! The only ones I can think of that are close are Nikki Cox and Katey Sagal.

Always liked her and was one of my first teenage crushes when Taxi came out!! Not the only reason I watched the show when it came out but sure was an enticement haha. Plus she seems like she'd be cool just hang out with.

I was going through puberty around the time TAXI was on, and Merilu Henner was probably one of the first (after Lynda Carter on Wonder Woman and Loni Anderson on WKRP) that made me realize that I am heterosexual.

Not to put a fine point on it, but there were a lot of scenes where her nipples would bust out (see above). Frankly, I am surprised no one has brought that up before. Maybe she had big nipples to begin with. Or maybe she as an actress got aroused at performing. There were other "pointy" women, but she was the most famous.
