Hello all,
Just posting a reminder to old fans of this site (and new ones who may not see the original thread of this topic) that we need to bring THE HOGAN FAMILY to video, as well as getting who-is-ever-in-charge to let us see those lost episodes of SEASON 3 where Valerie Harper was fired.
Well, to bring the series to video, then the number to call is: 1-800-457-0866. It's the COLUMBIA HOUSE Video Library and what they do is put your request on a wish list. Even if you're currently not a member of their club, tell them the only way they'll get your services is if they bring THE HOGAN FAMILY to video. Also state that the series starred Jason Bateman. Bringing up Valerie Harper and/or Sandy Duncan may confuse the issue. We wouldn't COLUMBIA HOUSE to release only the shows where Sandy was on it (or vice versa!).
If you're interested in the lost episodes, then contact Rob Thomas at rthomas@valerieharper.com and tell him you'd be interested in this as well. He's the person in charge of Valerie Harper's web site and is in constant touch with her. He's told me that he's not sure what effect Valerie will have in pursuing this, but that if enough people show an interest it will help her convince the-powers-that-be to release the shows as official outtakes and such. So basically, the more requests we get, the better our chances.
BTW, Todd, I'd like to link your HOGAN FAMILY site to my web page. Would this be OK with you? I wanted to ask first. Don't know when I'd be able to finally do it but I think the links could help generate more publicity for both pages, which in turn generate more responses for our crusade for the video releases and lost episodes. Let me know what you think.
Take care!
Ed
