Paul McCartney for one reason: "Yesterday" My favorite Beatles song ever!

"Well, Laverne is sort of childish" -Shirley

"Childish? Childish? Coming from a grown woman who throws tea parties for her stuffed cat!" -Laverne

"Well at least I don't sew L's on everything I wear!" -Shirley

"Well that would be pretty stupid considering your name's Shirley!" -Laverne

I have mixed feelings on this one. Lennon's Imagine has to be conidered one of the greatest songs ever written, if not the greatest. McCarney's Yesterday and Hey Jude are among my favorite Beatle's songs. I think I have to go with Lennon though. But without question Lennon/McCartney are the greatest song writing duo in the history of music.

I would have to agree with LaverneShirley Paul was better and Yesterday is also my favorite Beetles song. It was the first one I ever heard. Also I like the song Band on the run that is a great song.

Aw, geez, this is a toughy... My favorite song by the Beatles is 'A Hard Day's Night' which I believed was written by Lennon, but Paul McCartney wrote 'Hey Jude' which is just awesome. Oh I don't know...
You know what...i'm just gonna say George Harison was the best of em' all. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/wink.gif Because 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' was a GREAT song. I can never tire listening to that song...

I go with Paul because of Yesterday, but it's nearly a tie.
