Come on,admit it.
You've been up all night trying to write a script,or at least some lines for the characters.Ok,maybe not up all night, but I'm sure many of you have thought about it from time to time.I know I have. Here's your chance. You don't have to write a WHOLE SCRIPT. :)
But how about some possible imagined dialogue beteween the characters?
Maybe come up with a clever title or premise for an episode.
The playing field is HUGE!!I've got one I thought of last night.
Carrie and Arthur are in the kitchen having a general conversation:
Carrie:"Dad,don't forget you have your colonoscopy appointment tomorrow."
Arthur:"Ah yes.Or as I like to call it,"the probe with the strobe"."

Episode 617::lol:
"Sunny and Share"
"Deacon, Kelly and Carrie drag Doug to the beach. Doug gets severely sunburned, while he's acting like a baby, and everyone else is enjoying the day in the sun, Arthur is at home 'sharing' Doug and Carrie's credit card information on-line, with what he thinks is a live auction for a one-of-a-kind, Mint condition Frank Sinatra collection, but is really a scam."

haha! I've never came up with dialogue, but sometimes I'll think "it would be funny if they had Doug and Carrie....blahblah."
For example, I'd love to see a Halloween episode where they go to a costume party, and Doug dresses up like a woman, or something!

Thanks JP for putting yourself on the Frappr map. For all you other KOQ fans/addicts, here's the website:
www.frappr.com/thekingofqueensfanclub
Yes, I know I don't have D&C in Queens. I put in a request to have Queens, NY added to the Frappr map.
In any case, I have MANY AN IDEA for scripts.... But my TRUE LOVE is KOQ Trivia and... I just LOVE the set... Guys may not get this, but wouldn't it be great just walk around their "house," look at what books they have in that little nook you see when they're sitting on the couch. Ask Carrie what's up with all the Oriental rugs. Look in the cabinet to the left of the refrigerator and get yourself a Yodel, you know, make yourself at home...
Is anyone else out there into sets?

Okay, so here's the script section...sh*t it's like I've been all over this KOQ internet world. I told my husband I need 4 more monitors so I can have a website going on each one. Yeah, my husband won't be with us when we go to the taping.
Ok, I love Spence, some people might not get this. The scenario is Spence & Danny, and throw in Alan, too, decide to taking scuba diving lessons. They suit up in Wet Suits, and since I love Spence so much, behind the scenes he has a cod piece put in his wet suit so he looks very endowed. Danny, on the other hand, his wet suit looks a little shriveled and "unfilled" in that area. Anyway, a-la-Gilligan's Island, they end up stranded on Fire Island, which really is an island off of Long Island.
I've got more ideas coming, just must re-tank up on the caffeine...

Remember the Ferguson's, Mike & Debbie --- wasn't that the couple with the barking dog?
I remember Doug ended up walking the Dog, and by the end of the episode, the Dog was in bed with them.
Then I remember on another episode, Doug walking the dog.
Maybe I saw that dog a 3rd time, but I can't remember.
So, this script revolves around that Dog (sorry, can't remember his name)...
I've told SweetDiggitty that I would watch a 10th season if I had to watch an empty Heffernan house all season long. Well, this is sort of like that...
Doug & Carrie leave for work, Holly comes back to take Arthur for a walk, and the house is empty. Holly & Arthur walk out the back door (as usual) and cut thru the garage and walk right behind the couch, never noticing that Dog on it asleep. As soon as Holly & Arthur are out of the garage, the Dog opens the back door (he's able to turn the handle because it seems no one locks any doors, except like once, at 3121 Aberdeen.
Ok, the Dog is out of the garage and enters the house thru that DOGGIE DOOR that's been there since like day one of the show. Dog get's refrigerator open, grabs a snack, runs upstairs and gets a drink out of the toilet, jumps on D&C's bed for a nap...you see the clock beside the bed jump ahead....Dog wakes up...goes and gets another drink of water...goes down stairs....gets on the couch and hits the remote...watches some Lassie reruns...you see the clock again advanced...Doggy realizes they're all due home soon, so it's one more snack from the refrigerator, and what's this yummy treat in the garbage pail by the back door. Then it's lick the kitchen water faucet and it's time to go. Dog leaves thru that Doggy Door that's been there forever, and it's back to the couch in the garage.
There's a lot more, but basically a day in the life of that Dog in the Heffernan's house.

One more...
Okay, and you know I'm rooting for a 10th season, none of this second-place 9th crap....
So imagine it's the 10th and final season, and the final episode, and of course to the real writers this is a very emotional, heart-string tugging--- oh, whatever.....
The cast comes out to bow, all wiping their eyes, etc etc etc.... They depart and the set is still lit.... But the audience (and that's OUR GROUP with our GROUP TICKETS, that's posted someplace else on the board).... back to us, we're the audience, but are just playing the part of a studio audience ----
So the stage is still lit, everyone is gone... Then one by one, secrety and quietly, people (that's us again) start coming down to the set. Sweetdiggity drags the green chair off the stage, Michelle (me) is grabbing books off the shelf like crazy then goes into the kitchen to grab that one kitchen chair that has blue on the top with 2 gold/yellow balls on the top --- oops, but wait, with books under arms, she still has time to get some Yodels, then grabs the chair and runs out the back door.... It appears the studio audience (us) are taking a couple of souvenirs for ourselves, and guess what --- the Jeep's in the garage with the keys in the ignition. Sweetdiggity's already got the green chair thrown on top and...what's going on, we listen in closer, JP wants the big screen TV so they're trying to figure out how to get them both tied down on top of the Jeep. Then you have an audience/fan going thru D&C's drawers.... One of them is stealing Carrie's pantyhose, and the other one is steeling Doug's boxers [2 difft episodes -- one time Carrie's panty hose are in the top left hand drawer, another episode Doug's boxers are in there --- whatever, by now we (the fanatics) have learned to just "overlook" the crazy writers and all their goof ups]....And then it's time to raid Carrie's closet --- that's right --- that fan that's a size 0 is overloaded with Carrie's Bloomingdale clothes, shoes, and boots. Michelle decides she really likes that 50's/retro pink bathroom and instead of just taking the lights on either side of the sink, she's taking the whole entire bathroom set... No, wait, they're trying to stop her saying there's not enough room in the Jeep, but she's hopped up on Yodels and is screaming, clutching the shower curtain yelling, "No, this all must go to the Smithsonian!!!

Actually, we have 4 TVs to choose from. The one in the garage is an old big screen, right? Is the one in the living room just a regular sized TV? Then there's the TV in D&C's bedroom, and one down in Arty's basement --- hey, wait, on some episodes, there's a TV in the kitchen over by the stove....Grab what you can!!!! We're going to the Smithsonian!!!!!

What ever happened to Stanley? Or was it one of those, no there's no tree in front of there house. Today there is. Or know the Palmer's live in 16C, but you have proof of 16D....
Anyway, it would be hysterical for STANLEY to go down to Arthur's bathroom and roll around in Arthur's dirty laundry. Then go upstairs and curl up on Carrie's pillow. Find some snackin crumbs under Doug's pillow. I'm serious, that dog could have a complete episode of him being home alone. Love that Doggie Door.

Yes, they will be paying for the gas! Remember that coffee can that they keep money in --- it's in the Yodel/P*ptart cabinet to the left of the refrigerator.
Remember Doug took the money against Carrie's firm "NO" and, with Deacon, bet the money on a square. They won...had to spend the money...Eddie Money made an appearance...So, they spent all they could and Doug was able to replace that money.
Hopefully they've been continuing to put money in that coffee can....

JP, you are so right. I've had this script idea in my head for a while now.
And I am ECSTATIC there will be a KOQ Season 9, but a mini-Season 10 sure would be great as the HEFFERNANS GO TO GERMANY!!!!!
. There are so many German KOQ fans on the Frappr Map, that I AM SURE they would love to have the Heffernans visit their country! :king:
THE HEFFERNAN FAMILY REUNION IN GERMANY
Episode 1
Realizing everyone is growing up, moving away, or just moving on (as in end of the show), Doug's mother decides before anyone else moves away, the whole Heffernan Family is going to GERMANY for a family reunion. It's a surprise gift, and Doug & Carrie are at a loss for words. They've even bought a ticket for Arthur to go as well.
Stu is also in on this from the get-go, and gives his son, Danny, a surprise plane ticket to Germany.
Of course, the Albanian Spence knows a few words of German, and decides to go, giving a buddy-pass airline ticket to Holly, so she can walk both Alan and Arthur while they are in Germany. Spence the magnificent comes up with even some more buddy-passes so his mother (Anne Meara) can go, as well as Richie. Stephanie is "thrilled," to say the least that not only is she going to another country with her parents and brother, but that Richie will be there as well. [Turns out Spence has had an on-going "relationship" with a stewardess -- she gets to ride the subway for free, and in return, she's given him buddy passes. He sells a buddy-pass ticket at an inflated price to Richie.]
Deacon has some friends in Germany from when he was in one of the branches of military service Sweetdiggity, JP, LL, anyone remember what part of the service he was in? Was it National Guard? Well, it really doesn't make a difference, because we know the real writers of KOQ make up the show as they go along, too. Deacon and Kelly decide it would be a great educational trip for Major & Kirby to see other sites in the world other than Queens.
Doug's mother is overwhelmed and ecstatic that the whole entire family, including their close friends, are ALL going to go back to their homeland of Germany. She's so happy that she rents a Chalet in A shout out to our German KOQ fan friends --- what city or town would you like the Heffernans to call "their ancestors home town." so everyone can all STAY TOGETHER in the same lodging..... As each of the cast members finds out that they are all staying together, you can hear the sigh of utter happy-hellness. Except for Arthur.
Arthur has every expectation that he will pack all necessary gear needed in case of any emergency, such as a bow & arrow to catch their own food if need be, as well as an emergency life raft to have on hand while they fly over the Atlantic ocean.
As Arthur wrestles with the unexpected raft that just blew up, Lou Ferrigno comes by to help him. Long story short, hey, Lou and his wife would also love to go along!
Episode 2
Episode 2 is about the wild and wacky adventures of the Heffernan's plane ride and arrival in Germany. On the plane, Danny & Arthur fight over who gets the window seat. Kirby keeps kicking the back of Carrie's seat. Arthur gets lost on the on the plane and ends up taking a First Class seat since it was not occupied. Stephanie & Richie are already fighting, as is Deacon & Kelly. Kelly thought they were going to be in a separate hotel far away from the Heffernan's reunion; uh....Deacon just sort of forgot to tell her...It was such a great deal and all with Doug's parents picking up the tab on the rental Chalet.
Once they have landed, Spence argues with a woman who is trying to claim Spence's baggage as her own --- turns out they both had Pink Plaid suitcases.... Spence says it's so much easier to identify your luggage if you have bright luggage. There's only one cart for all their luggage, and it's piled high and wide on that luggage cart, ie, Doug, who is pushing the cart, and Carrie who is navigating for him because he can't see what's in front of the overloaded cart, is mowing down other tourists, a kiosk, and then finally loses control and runs into a souvenir shop. Security helps the entire Heffernan group (and by now Deacon, Lou Ferrigno, and Richie are trying to convince passerbys and strangers that no, they are not related to these crazy Heffernans) to transportation to take them to their Chalet.
Episode 3
In a scene of musical chairs, this group of 18, with Alan in a dog carrier, all try to fit into 2 vans, which over there are little clown vans.
Alas, they are at their rental Chalet, and from outside everyone just stands and stares at it's glory in its place of beatiful Germany scenery. All fights now forgotten, everyone, and all their luggage is brought into the Chalet.
When Doug's mother made the reservations for the 4-bedroom Chalet, she didn't count on EVERYONE (who has ever been on the show) would decide to come along.
With 18 people, 4 bedrooms, and one dog named Alan who must wear a coat and boots, the Heffernan chaos resumes.
It turns into total chaos, when everyone -- each with multiple, clumsy, heavy, awkward luggage--- trudge from room to room, just to find out someone else has already claimed that room.
Episode 4
Time to take in the sites. [As with all sitcom families that have taken to travel, such as the Ramono's in "Everybody Love Raymond," they have their fare share of "situations."] In this half-hour, you have your share of people getting lost, some eating too much cheese (Arthur), others drinking tooooo much beer (Doug, Danny, Deacon, Richie, Stephanie and Holly), and Spence preferring Wine. Lou & his wife suggest they all take a guided walking tour, and we the viewers get to see how beautiful this town in Germany is. However, Dougie comes across rental scooters, and scooters his way about the guided walking tour.
Episode 5
All 18 go to the Heffernan Family Reunion 2007. Doug's mother insists each and everyone will go to the Heffernan Family Reunion. Deacon and Kelly exchange glances, as do Spence and Alan.
At the site of the reunion, Doug's head starts swirling (too much beer from the day before) and can't remember all the German Heffernan's he has met. An elderly German Aunt insists Kelly Palmer is the daughter of one of the Heffernan sisters (Doug's father walks by and whispers, "She's color blind, and totally blind in the left eye."). Kelly plays the role of this "daughter's daughter" when the old woman starts telling Kelly everything she is going to to inherit when the old woman passes. All of a sudden, Kelly really LOVES being a Heffernan and makes it a point to become friendly and familiar with the rest of the reunion guests, referring to herself as such-and-such's daughter.
Alan is afraid of a huge German Shepard at the reunion, and Spence must hold little Alan --- little Alan who keeps tinkling on Spence, making it look like Spence wet his pants. And that's just great when all of Doug's German female cousins look like models.
[Any number of comedic situations, and any number of episodes could be raised from this insane, comical family reunion... Let's just say, don't eat Uncle Wilhelm's sauerkraut....]
Episode 4
Return to Queens....
Doug's parents and Uncle Stu are so happy their children have met their distant family over in Germany...This is what Doug and Danny's fathers have wanted to do for years, and now it has been done..... Spence is able to wash all his pants that Alan has tinkled on, and Spence is tired of hearing, "does anyone else smell that???" Turns out Holly & Richie had a thing going, and this German trip just cemented their love for each other; they announce they are going to get married. Kirby and Major surprise their parents by speaking fluent German to each other; the parents wonder what the 2 boys are saying, and the 2 boys aren't giving in.... Arthur returns with so much cheese that one of the kitchen table legs gives out. Everyone is amazed, and shocked, when Uncle Stu announces his intentions for Spence's mother. Lou Ferrigno is glad to be home because everyone in Germany thought he was Arnold Shwartnager (sp?) with a tan and dyed hair to be incognito.
And last, but not least, Carrie notices a bump, and yes, you guessed it, she got pregnant by Doug while over in Germany.
End of Story

What happened to Sara and poor Stanley? :(
I have an whole idea about Stanley, and you'd have to really be a KOQ addict to "appreciate" what I call "The Stanley Episode."
Carrie leaves for work out the front door. Holly comes in thru the back door to pick up Arthur for his walk. Doug leaves thru the garage, getting in the Jeep, never noticing Stanley is sound asleep, all four paws up in the air. What a dog's life!!!!
Hearing the jeep leave, Stanley awakes from his slumber, yawns, stretches, and gets down off the couch. He goes to the garage door and manipulates the door knob with his two front paws, and he's out of the garage, heading for the house.
And yes, remember the doggie door that's been in the back door all these years? Well, Stanley walks right in.
First stop is the refrigerator --- again, very good at getting doors open. He pulls out a deli-white-paper wrapped package of bologna. Mmmmm....yummy. Then Stanley puts the paper wrapper in the garbage --- oh, and what's this....hmmm...Stanley finds something equally yummy to eat out of the the trash....
Then it's upstairs to the bathroom for a drink of water from the toilet bowl.
Ah, Stanley -- such a happy dog. He heads for Doug & Carrie's bed, where he wipes his snout on the comforter, rolls around, does a little scratching, and it's off to sleep on Carrie's pillow, with his butt on Doug's pillow.
From the bedroom clock, we can see time move forward. Stanley wakes up, sneezes a few times (gross!!!) then it's back to the toilet for another drink.
Going down the stairs, he hears the mailman. Stanley goes over to the front door, and as the mailman pushes the mail thru the slot, Stanley takes it in his mouth, then turns and trots off to the kitchen, where he leaves the mail on the kitchen table. Time for more snacks....what to eat...what to eat...what to eat....Ah, here's some "healthy" snack bars Carrie bought for Doug.....taste just like Milkbones! Mmmmmm...yummy.....
Then it's off to the living room and up on the couch to wriggle around and play with the blanket throw that's on the back of the couch. So much play, Stanley falls asleep, and there's a close up of him drooling....
Again, you see the time pass on the clock. Stanley wakes up, goes up stairs for another lap of water from the toilet bowl. Licks the sweet taste left on the toothbrushes, sniffs around in the dirty laundry basket, and then it's time to go back down stairs.
Getting close to the time when everyone will be home, Stanley stops by the refrigerator to eat what's left of a left-over-hero sandwich, puts the wrapper in the garbage, and the licks the kitchen sink water faucet.
Then it's back out thru the doggie door and back into the garage, where he curls back up for some sleep on Doug's couch in the garage.
Carrie arrives home first....Wow, she sees Doug has eaten all the "healthy" snack bars and is so proud of him....Then she looks in the refrigerator to start dinner and notices the bologna and the left-over hero sandwich are gone --- Carrie shakes her head and says, "What's the sense of eating the healthy bars if you're just gonna top it off with a pound of balogna and a day-old sandwich?" Carrie gathers some things out of the refrigerator to start dinner.
Carrie walks over to the coffer maker and fills the caraffe with water from the kitchen spicket that Stanley licked earlier, and starts coffee.
Holly returns Arthur, and Carrie makes the comment that the house smells really "doggy." Holly & Arthur are insulted, with Holly leaving and Arthur storming off to go down to the basement.
Doug pulls into the garage, never noticing Stanley asleep on the garage couch. Doug gets his stuff out of the Jeep, and leaves the garage and heads for the back door.
There's a close up of Stanley laying belly up as if to say, "This is the dog's life," and Stanley smiles. :dog:
