View Full Version : What is UP with the price of gas [Part Deux]
Six weeks ago, I could get a gallon of regular here in BG for $2.06.
I stopped at the gas station a few minutes ago: $2.69.
It hasn't been this high since post-Katrina. What the HECK is going on?
And what's the $$ of Gas where YOU live (My prices in USD per gallon, YMMV)

$2.78 at one of the cheapest gas stations this morning. And I just got some gas at this station yesterday at $2.69.
Grrrrr.... don't tell me there's still another terrorist attack at Saudi Arabia? That's what happened in late February/early March, but the price is STILL going up. Yikes.

2.59. I hate this country. Stupid government...they don't have to pay for their gas, what do they care what the price is?? Exxon made the Fortune 500 #1 spot and all the other oil companies saw a huge increase in profit (an abnormally high increase I might add)...gee, don't see anything wrong there! *closes eyes and stuffs pockets full of dough*
Actually, the whole planet sucks.

$2.69 I believe. I hardly ever know what the gas prices are when I am up at school since I only drive when I am going home for a weekend.

I know... it's getting ridiculous. Where I live, the price per gallon shot up thirty cents overnight...

That's what Mobil was charging last friday when I filled up. I may start going over to Sunoco, they're usually cheaper than Mobil where I live.

After the hurricane, it was up in the $3.30 range around here. Now it's about $2.70 after it's been a little over two dollars for months.
I can't wait until they start producing quality hybrid cars. I would have gotten one by now, they look so godawfully ugly. But with fossil fuels running out, maybe that'll put people in gear to start mass producing cars that use alternative fuels to power them. They should have already started by now, imo.
