after a week, what do you think?

Man, I remember this show being better. This first week they've shown is kind of sub-par. Jumping from a crashing plane, Burt's crush on Sandy, Mother Poole, etc.

The ones I remember making me like the show are coming up, though. Dave and Mike trapped Mrs. Poole's garage; Willie and Mark get a porno tape stuck in the VCR; Dave tries to romance the new girl in school; one where Dave falls in love, but I think that's from the '89 season.

i was suprise to see this back on. i remeberwatching it regulary. the dad plays on days of our lives now. always loved the mom's glasses

I know the show was called "Valerie" for the first few years, but GOD! I forgot just how much the stories were surrounded around her. It's okay, but I like it better when it's a lot about the kids.

Josh Taylor was also on Days then. He played a different character, Chris Kositchek from 1976-1987. He left Days in 1987 to do THF full time. He returned and started playing Roman Brady in 1997.

Now that I think about it, it wouldnt surprise me a bit if this is how the idea of the character Michael Hogan being a pilot came to fruition.
