There is reports coming out now that Katie Couric's deal as a news anchor of CBS Evening News is expected to be announced within the next day or two. The deal is already agreed in principle.

Katie Couric is to SMILEY to be an anchor for CBS News. She is not serious enough in my opinion.

I agree with Solomon, I think she is a little too perky to be a serious news anchor.
