Ironically, I bought Cheech and Chong's "Up In Smoke" and "Still Smokin" last week on DVD. I was about to warch one of them today.

I am scared of getting hair cuts.

When eating out I will never sit in a booth because it makes me feel claustrophobic.

I am so terrified of heights I cannot climb a ladder without getting dizzy.

When I was a little boy I had a terrible stuttering problem.

I am terrified of animal heads on the wall. If I am in a restraunt and they seat us by an animal head I ask to sit somewhere else. I know that's a crappy thing to do to them but I just can't sit there, it freaks me out.

OMG! Me and my friend were having a discussion about this the other day... about how it came about that people put deer heads or fish corpses on their walls... about how inhumane it was and what people would think about human heads on their walls... it was a very deep discussion lol.

I use to eat my boogers.

I dropped out of the eigth grade.

I was held back in Kindergarten.

I was put into an alternative school for troubled kids.

In the past, I was in trouble with the law.

I was born with heart problems.

I take 6, and occasionally 7 different medications daily.

I was once put in a mental hospital for a suicide attempt.

I'm a hypocrit, who wants to be a good Christian, but I'm far from it.

I have agoraphobia.

I tend to fall in love very easily.

Despite the many friends Iv'e made here, I can count the flesh and blood friends that I have on one hand.

Because of my agoraphobia, it took my two years before working up enough nerve to meet my brother's fiancee in person.

I have trouble knowing when people are being serious, or when they're being sarcastic.

And lastly, I'm a closet liberal, posing as a conservative. :lol: :joke:

-I am a worry wart (I worry about soooo many things that other people normally don't worry about).

-When I freak out about things, I tend to freak out in the inside and to myself.

-I have a fear of heights. I can't even climb a ladder or get too close to a ledge (even if it's in a building behind a glass), yet I have no problem flying thousands of miles up in the air in airplanes.

-I get various types of headaches often (sinus and migraine), yet I don't make an effort to get them checked out.

-I fear getting checkups at a doctor (I've NEVER had one either...)

-Despite my communicating online in various forums, I don't have as many online friends as a lot of people here seem to have.

-I have on-and-off fleeting feelings over a crush turned into a friend which makes it hard at times.

-I don't wear makeup and I don't have patience to style my hair. I tried it but looks terrible, so I get frustrated and give up easily.

-I love wearing skirts and dresses!! I just find it a pain to shave my legs every couple of days to prevent the stubble coming back up. :mad:

-I am VERY lazy in running errands or doing car maintenance (I know.... VERY bad).

-I used to wear glasses to correct my lazy eye, but then I found it difficult to see things far away. I, therefore, halted wearing them when I was 17.

I was in the hospital with pnemonua(spelling?) when I was two and almost died.

More things I can remember:

-I have a hair-pulling issue. When I am bored or nervous, I tend search for split ends and cut those with my fingers, and I find a rough, tear-off spot near the roots of my scalp and pull it off. Yes, I have to be careful of not going bald. That happened on patch on my head when I was 11. :(

-I also can't sit still. I am quite neurotic, so I think that's where my problem stems from.

-I chew my tongue just like I chew gum. I do it subconsciously, so it's only later when I realize I was chewing.

-When I walk on sidewalks and any dividing lines, I "have to" count in even numbers to make a count of ten. Like, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and then repeat it.

-I'm not using my college degree at all. In fact, I sometimes I wonder if it's a hinderance. I think employeers look at that and think I want too much money for the position I applied for, despite the fact that my major has nothing to do with the job.
-I won't eat out alone, except maybe at lunch,
-I still live with my parents and don't mind it one bit. And if you try to hand me any of that "You're a loser!! You'll get nowhere in life!!" crap, I'll go off on you. Different strokes, people.
-Cats scare me.

-I'm a loner. I like spending time with people, but I often get annoyed if it's too long. It's not them, it's me.
-Sometimes I wish I could go back to my HS days, despite the fact that it wasn't all that great.
-I have a horrible habit of chewing the sides of my fingernails (the skin), my lips, and the inside of my mouth. The skin around my nails is all scarred over and has been for years.
-I'm loud online...totally opposite off. I prefer to blend in and be ignored.
-I feel that I'll never have any luck in life...because other people won't take me seriously.

I skipped the first grade, so I should have graduated from high school in 2004, instead of 2003.

I graduated from high school at 17 and was the 3rd youngest in my grade.

The next school year will mark my 20th academic (NOT calendar) year in school.

My family was on an episode of Trading Spaces: Family one and a half years ago. My stepsister was almost picked to be in the contestant row on The Price is Right recently. Somebody in her group made it, but not her.

My family and I are big on traveling. We travel a lot. I was recently to NYC, two family members recently traveled to London and one of my stepsibs is living in the Los Angeles area right now for school. Before the year is out, I will have trekked out to Minneapolis for the umpteenth time and Los Angeles for the first time.

I knit in my spare time. I haven't done much knitting recently, but I enjoy knitting. :)

1)I've been thrown out of a restaurant for mild "antagonizing" of a US Senator that happened to be there at the time. It was a couple of years ago, I'm not especially proud of it, but it's definitely worth mentioning.

2)I did NOT vote for President in the 2004 US elections (did vote for the rest of the elections, but not President).

3)I like Survivor.

4)Was a straight A student until the 6th grade, but after midway that year made at least one C every semester until this past semester at WKU.

that's definitely me as well :lol: last fall when i went to Disneyworld, i was out in the sun all day for a week and i didn't get even a slight tan or a sunburn. when i went back to school everyone said 'you're the only person i know who could go to Florida for a week and come back without even a small tan'. i seriously stay the same ghostly pale color all year :lol:

there isn't really anything that would surprise you guys about me, other than these:

-i have been close friends online with adults the same age as my parents (most of them i don't talk to now)
-i am the only kid in my homeroom class who doesn't have any interest in American Idol
-i sometimes go to NFL football games, my family has season tickets :D
-i sound a lot older on the phone than i really am. i could easily pass for a 16 or 17 year old if you heard me on the phone.
-often times i have a lot of hatred towards my closest friends :lol: especially one who isn't such a close friend anymore who got suspended for two weeks from school.

I was born two weeks early.

In 1981 I had to be rushed to the hospital after being attacked by a German Shepherd. Despite this experience I still love dogs.

Ummm I'm trying to think of some other things. These might be a little depressing though, sorry lol.

-I was my mom's easiest child at birth :lol:
- When I was 7 I was jumping on a bed and a cross fell on my head. I didn't notice anything until I left a blood trail on the floor. My grandmother ran away instead of taking care of my head lol
- Alcoholism and anorexia run in my family A LOT! (We're Irish:D)
- I got my "gift" when I was 8 years old.
- My Dad hated me because I was a girl, he wanted a boy.
- I wish everyday that at my wedding I could dance with my father, but it's not possible:(
- I end up hating men! lol

I was in a really bad auto accident when I was 18 where my head actually hit the windshield cracking it (the windshield). I have had headaches ever since. I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or not. I also can only turn my head so far in either direction.

I already mentioned i was adopted. But I didn't mention that the way I was adopted was not the "usual" way. My birth mother offered her baby (me) to my family...they already had adopted a boy and a girl. They adopted them the way people normally adopt children, with legal paperwork, all that stuff. My mom wanted another baby sooo bad. When my birth mother had me, she called my soon-to-be family and let them know I was born. My mother cried and cried, she wanted to adopt me soooo bad. So my soon-to-be father went to the hospital and signed the birth certificate as the FATHER and when my birth mother and I were released from the hospital, she handed me over to my new family. No paperwork, no legal stuff, just a woman who wanted to make sure I had a beautiful life. I am amazed with all the adoptions that go wrong nowadays, surrogates, etc. that nothing bad happened with my situation.

I also know how to sign the alphabet in British Sign Language (BSL), because I wanted to be sure I knew how to say at least the alphabet in BSL before I traveled to London. For the record, they use two hands to sign the alphabet in Great Britain, whereas here in the States, we use one hand.

Oh, yeah, I forgot for a brief moment that you sign. Yes, you are considered multi-lingual. Sign languages are considered languages. That's cool! What is Signed Exact English? How different is it than ASL? I am guessing it is like the common of all English dialects or something?

I work in a computer lab facility at my college, so I have seen some deaf students every now and then taking classes. They have a "reader/writer" who translates while those computer instructors lecture demos to the students. I have wanted to eventually learn ASL because of my love of languages, and I think it would be cool to be able to sign with hands/motions. I just can't find a good online resource website. The books are too expensive, but anyway...I will eventually learn somehow.

I always wanted to ask you questions about ASL and about the deaf community, but I am a naturally curious person tend to ask overly nosy questions just to know. I know some people do get insulted, so I refrained from asking you stuff. :o

I hate being around people for the most part, I love late at night(after 10pm or so) because I am alone and it's quiet.
