I think you are experiencing ISP blackout.

The site is still there and functional.

who knows

north carolina doesnt work

wisconsin doesnt

and the person above from the west coast

and only the canada user can get in, interesting

like usual, no one knows for sure

pretty funny how users in 3 different parts of the us, can not get to the site

usualy if theres a site rework, or upgrade

theres a message

and even a redirect link

all it says is cant find

as in doesnt exist

add chicago metro area to the no list

i just heard from indiana,

and its a no go there as well

maybe the joker hacked in and cut us loosers out

of course since im not an ioffer member at all

i just love all the people who are crapping their drawers about now

how will i support myself

seriously there are many things legal in canada that arent here in the states

back when sat tv cards were the big deal

it was that way

canadian people could run adds and openly sell codes

the us folks couldnt

at this point, who really knows???

I am in Missouri and am having no troubles logging in or anything, also, iofferstores.com is just a link to the stores tab. iofferclubs.com also links to the site. Weird that so many people in the US cannot access the site.

This is the same as the time when I couldn't access freeweb sites, but all of you could.

Watch this be something simple like their Domain Name (ioffer.com) expired and somebody forgot to renew it - it happened last year with Microsoft, same symptoms. It would make sense that some people can get there and some can't (DNS records age out differently from server to server).

I can access it fine, as can others I know.

Yup, its a DNS problem. For those of you who can't get to www.ioffer.com, try going to http://63.211.140.209/ That's the same server (bypasses DNS). See if it works for you (worked for me, when www.ioffer.com doesn't)

Lamont, it's because some of the links are hard-coded with the DNS name. They'll fail as long as DNS is having problems. If you click on Sell or some of the others, they work because they don't need DNS. Look at the link info in the bottom of your browser when you move your mouse over the link - if it says something like www.ioffer.com/search - its not going to work for now. If it says http://63.211.140.209/seach - it'll work. It's probably just a temp. problem. I've fixed these types of problems in my real job, but the hard part is DNS takes a while to catch up (something called "time to live" has to expire before the records are refreshed - techie stuff! :)

Someone from ioffer posted this:

" Network issue Posted: Mar 28, 2006 11:09 AM

Our network provider is currently experiencing an issue that may affect certain users ability to access the site. They are working hard to get it resolved ASAP and we will let you know when they do."
