I thought the Pointer Sisters were an 80's group.
I thought the first time Don Knotts was on TV was "Three's Company."(I watched reruns of TC)
I do not remember the 1993-1994 Michael Jackson molestation case at all , which is weird, being that I remember the OJ trial clearly, and that was only two years after. It's weird that I don't rememer a BIG thing like the MJ case, but I remember the OJ case and Tonya Harding scandal, which one happened just one year after MJ's case.
When I was growing up, I had never seena BETA player in my life. VHS were the rage until DVD's came out.

I remember all that stuff very well. For someone who was very young at that time it's not all that surprising if they remember little or nothing about the MJ molestation. The OJ story got a lot more attention, was on tv 24/7. I remember getting mad because it interupted Days of Our lives. The Tonya/Nancy thing was a big story too especially here in MI where it took place.

See how young I am? The only "James Bond" I knew of was Pierce Bronsan. When I found out that Sean Connery played james bond too, I was like,

The first time I saw Don Knotts was on reruns of The Andy Griffith Show and then I watch him in a series of Disney movies like The Apple Dumpling Gang...long before Three's Company.
I remember Michael Jackson when he was a member of the Jackson Five. I liked him back then. It's sad what's happened to him since.

yay, my turn.
i've never even heard of the pointer sisters, but i would have guessed they're a pop group from decades ago.
i saw don knotts on andy griffith before three's company, but i don't remember when or how i picked up on his identity.
i certainly wasn't aware of the michael jackson case. i think i was around four or five years old when the OJ simpson case went on and although i had absolutely no idea who he was or what was going on, i got sick of hearing his name on tv. i wondered if he had anything to do with the simpsons, which i hadn't seen but knew was an animated tv show. :grr:
i'm not sure if i've even heard of a beta player.

Same here. I also remember Don Knotts from THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET. Great movie.
I grew up listening to the Jackson 5. Like Sonny said, so sad to see how he is now. That is not the Michael I grew up with. :(
