This show is my favorite and have told my friends about it and I've shown them my dvds and they don't like it. I am glad to know there are people like you Sharop. Do any of your friends like this show or are they just like mine

I was 15 when I became a fan of Taxi. That was back in the fall of '94 when N@N had that Taxi Appreciation Week marathon. It's been one of my favorite shows ever since. :cool:

Don't worry ghd... I feel your pain too lol. Ever since I was five or six years old I've been obsessed with classic TV... especially the likes of Taxi and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I think it was a mix of the compelling theme songs and the dynamic, crazy characters that drew me in... and it hooked me. My friends can't figure me out either... virtually everything on TV nowadays is CRAP. The only current comedies that I like are My Name Is Earl and 30 Rock, and other than that I just watch TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, DOLLHOUSE, and LIE TO ME as far as scripted series go (BACK TO YOU was a great recent comedy show too though--- unfortunately though it was very short lived).

That's exactly how old I was too when I started watching in the Fall of '78. One of my favorite series. I always liked sitcoms moreso than dramas.
