Did anyone see this? I thought it was a hoot...considering those two had been feuding in real life. I thought the episode was one of the funniest ones so far. I also think it's fun that they were able to settle their issues with one another and poke fun at each other. I loved it! I don't know how old Julie is, but she sure looks great!

I didn't know that they had been feuding in real life, that does make it much more enjoyable!

They had been feuding, and from what I remember, it got pretty nasty at times. When I first saw her (on the show), I thought I was confused about who he had been fighting with...it was that nasty. However, when they started making fun of the feud, I knew it was her. It was one of the best shows so far!

Oh yeah they were fueding. For almost ten years i believe. Jim even sued her in court over the property issue (noise, trees, etc). She claimed that Jim's hot tub was so close to her property that when she was in her bedroom, she couldn't get no peace because of the noise coming from Jim's side. There was also something abt somebody's dogs constant barking. And also something abt someone's trees growing so fast, it interfered with the "view" of the city. Finally Jim's wife said to him that he needed to stop this and extend an olive branch to Julie. Jim said his wife was right and to get things to work out would be to be friends, rather than spending money on the courts, which obviously wasn't solving anything. So, that's how Julie ended up on his show. He asked her and she was happy to do it. Which is why the episode was abt Jim fueding with his neighbor. They wanted to make fun of the issue.

Wow, that's interesting! I knew it was ugly, but I didn't realize it was that bad. Good for him (and his wife), and good for Julie. It's always nice when people make an effort to get along...even when things have been a bit rocky!
