Wow, first Don Knotts and now Darren McGavin. What a night. I watched Darren in Night Stalker when I was a kid, but he will live forever as "The Old Man" in Christmas Story year after year.

Wow, first Don Knotts and now Darren McGavin. What a night. I watched Darren in Night Stalker when I was a kid, but he will live forever as "The Old Man" in Christmas Story year after year.

I was just about to say the same thing. This guy was a great actor and I remember him in The Night Stalker too. A very underrated show.

I remember watching that movie when I was a kid at the theaters! This kid they had abducted was brushing his pet skunk's teeth!! :rotflmao:

RIP Darren McGavin- I also remember the Night Stalker, but he will be forever remembered as the father in Christmas Story.:(
