Honeymoon episode and after?

This question has been bothering me ever since I became a fan of Mork and Mindy when the show used to run on Nick at Nite. On Nick, when the honeymoon episode was aired, the episode ended with the couple falling to Earth in the malfunctioning egg...and then the next aired episode was the birth of Mearth. I dont believe there was anything in between. Came home and popped an egg out of his belly button with almost no explanation.

OK, the baby Mirth ep was on today in Indy.
It is one month after their honeymoon on Ork and they have supposedly been living in domestic bliss, with no other explanation given.
Mork doesn't feel good so Exidor -- who ROCKS -- comes over as a doctor.
Mork decides he must be pregnant, since he has all the symptoms and Exidor says,
"Nonesense! And that's ME sayin' it."
Then an egg pops out of Mork's bely button, which is supposedly a big deal, since he never had one before.
Since an Orkan and a human have never been matched before, this was a big surprise to everyone and Mindy was really wigged out.
Part 2 airs tomorow.

This episode and its cluster of surrounding episodes seem to have the most questions asked about them, so I tried to be as detailed as possible.
