Would you date/marry someone outside your race? If you have/had, did you have a hard time telling your friends and parents?

no. i have no problem with anyone of another race therefore it would not matter to me if i was dating someone of a different race.

I've once had a crush on someone who was not the same race as me. I'd have no problems with dating someone of a different race but it would be really hard for my family to accept it because frankly, they are old fashioned. Not racist, just old-fashioned in their way of thinking of "how things should be."

Race doesn't matter to me although religion would. I'm a devout Christian and I don't think I could date, much less marry, a guy who didn't have similar religious beliefs and customs.

Honestly, no, I couldn't.

My dad wouldn't like it either. My mom, I dunno, but my dad wouldn't. And omg...my uncle...he's sorta racist. And he hates people in general. lol

We're all the same, made out of the same stuff. Skin makes no difference in my eyes.

Ditto. Sadly that is one thing that would kill my dad, if I dated outside of my race. He's very against it.

Considering that I'm biracial myself and I have mulatto friends, I would have no problem marrying a certain race, whether it be black, hispanic, etc.

Yes, definitely. I haven't before, but that's not on purpose. If anyone I knew had a problem with it, I couldn't care less.

Yeah, I'd date out of my race if it was a girl who I found myself attracted to. I haven't dated outside my race, but it certainly wouldn't be something I'd be against. I'm kind of lucky, because it wouldn't bother either of my parents one bit if I chose to date outside my race. They wouldn't care less.

Yeah I'd date/marry outside my race. My parents wouldn't be too fond of it though. I remember in 8th grade I had a huge crush on this black guy and my mom wasnt too happy about that. She was worried about the whole interracial relationship thing, and what people would say about our kids.

I had a crush on a black guy when I was in 8th grade too and my mom was the same way. Not that any of it mattered because the guy turned out to be gay.
