Look at how the Knicks are doing this year and look at how the Hornets are doing. The Knicks have much better players than the Hornets but some how Larry Brown can't get his team to win consistently at all. Byron Scott on the other hand is about to get the Hornets to the playoffs this year and he doesn't have any superstars on the team. Hornets are a young team so why are they doing so well and the Knicks aren't? What's that point guard's name that plays for the Hornets and he's a rookie? I think his name is Chris Paul. Am i right? David West and JR Smith are also good for the Hornets. Another example is Utah Jazz. Look at them this year. They're probably gonna make the playoffs and they don't have any superstars. Jerry Sloan is a excellent coach for them. He doesn't have much talent to work with but some kind of way, he always has the Jazz playing well. Andrei Kirilenko is a shot blocking monster for them and Mehmet Okur is also a good player. Carlos Boozer finally came back for them. I hope he can put up very good scoring and rebounding averages in the years to come if he stays healthy.

The thing is the Knicks, although they have a great coach, have too many egos and cannot play as a team. The Hornets on the other hand, are young and hungry.

As for the Knicks, they are in serious debt. Next year, Allan Houston gets paid $20,718,750, Shandon Anderson gets $7,244,000, and Jerome Williams gets $6,425,000. There is literally no hope for the Knicks.
