June Blair is my Aunt. Her and Davids divorce really upset the Family, she pretty much felt abandoned by them. June is my mothers sister.

last I heard shes lives alone and won't leave the house out of a fear people.

Her and David used to take my brother and I to the circus and then to the brown derby.

Its really sad what has happened to her. Most of my family has no contact with her anymore.

june blair was just the sweetest person. She was SO likable. I am so saddened to read that she is alone. Dave & she seemed magical together. I wish SOMEHOW they could reconcile. I wonder if she has an email address. I sure would like to tell her I loved her on the show and love her still.

I am so sad about hearing about June. I have been trying to find an address to write to her for several months, but have come up with nothing. I even emailed Matthew Nelson but was told that he and Gunnar do not have any contact with her anymore. She was so beautiful and I wanted to write to her to tell her some of her fans have not forgotten her.

I recently saw a Lifetime Intimate portrait about Jaclyn Smith. June Blair was on. She is a good friend of Jacklyn's and they are very close. She is not a shut in at all. She looked very good.

I saw her on Intimate Portrait about Angie Dickinson. It will be repeated on March 24 at 7:00 EST on Lifetime.
I wrote to Kristin Nelson Tinker (Ricky's ex wife) and she told me that she hadn't seen June since Harriet's funeral. They exchange letters now and then she said . She said that June is still a good and supportive friend.
June lives in the San Fernando Valley with her 2 sons by David.

I will post some past photos that I have found.

I saw her on Angie Dickenson's bio.She and Angie are really good friends. Yes she apparently goes by June Nelson. And yes she is quite heavy now. But remember she must be in her 60's by now!

From eveything I have read June was not happy about doing the show! Either was Chris. It must of been hard to be in front of the camera like that.

Does anyone know how June's sons, Daniel and Jamie, are doing? And what they are doing? Did their father, David, stay in touch with them after he and June divorced and his subsquent remarriage? Do Daniel and Jamie stay in touch with Rick's 4 children?

Just last week on the Biography channel there was a 2 hour show about the Nelson's. It concentrated more on Ricky and his family. Nothing whatsoever was said about David's kids. The only children mentioned were his stepchildren belonging to his current wife. I found this very odd that June was only mentioned in passing and his own children not mentioned at all! I wonder why? I was really hoping to find out more about his marriage and children with June. But nothing ! :( Maybe David (or June) wanted it this way? :confused:

About June Nelson. She is doing fine.
It has been thrity years since she left David. He had moved back home; turning a negative into a positive, being there for his parents when his father fell ill with incurable cancer of the liver. David treasured his conversations with his father whom had told his eldest son, "not to dispair," in time his eldest son would marry again. Indeed, he did only months after his fathers death he met Yvonne and married her shortly after on September 3, 1975. Adopting her three children: John, Teri, and Eric by previous marriage; blending her family with his two sons: Danial and Jamie.
From an introduction of The "Adventures' of Ozzie and Harriet" from the Disney channel over a decade ago, David said before introducing a show where his father had irrationally promised little eight year old David that when he out grew him, he would give him fifty dollars. He did. Both on screen and in real life. Both, David and his late brother, Rick, each received their fifty dollars for having grown taller than their father, as their late father, Ozzie, and his own brother, Alfred, got their's when they passed measure height of their father. David said he has four sons, and unfortunately, for him it cost him two hundred dollars. His daughter, Teri, didn't collect her's. Unfortunately, most recently she divorced her husband of over twenty years, because of infidelity. They have two boys. Teri's brothers are private people. Jamie lives in Sherman Oaks with his family. Daniel has a child that is college-bound. Ozzie is now a great-grandfather! Time has a way of flying by. It is unclear if his great-grandchildren will go to his alma mater. David's children were very close to his younger brother, Rick's, children when they were very young. And, to this day, his first wife June keeps in touch with Kris. Both grandmothers, one living in the San Fernando Valley and the other in new Mexico, now of children form pre-school age to teenagers. They're children, the late Ozzie and Harriet's grandchildren do not see each other. A decade ago, they came together for their grandmother's funeral. They now, are all grown with families of their own living throughout the country.

I have read that she spends time in Santa Fe.I will be going there also and would like to buy a copy of a painting of hers. Do you know if she is still there and sells her paintings?

Was just wanting to know if anyone knows where I can find some of the frist Ozzie and Harriet shows when Ricky and David were young. Those were some real funning ones. I have alot of them after they got married on the show.
