We love watching "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" every night on Good Life TV! Does anyone know what David is doing now?

Last time I heard, David is directing commercials and owns his own film production company.
OH Nuts!

O & H episodes can turn up almost anywhere but often at discount stores like J&R (New York City), Target and major video chain stores. The 40 DVD set by PLATINUM (La Crosse, Wisc) is pretty good. I bought the 4 DVD set for $16 at J&R--only 40 cents an episode!--a real bang for your buck!! Since I've been collecting O & H episodes now for 7 years I have 108 eps and already had 26 of them on the DVD set. But I still got 14 new episodes--only $1 & change for each. Still darn good in my book. This DVD set isn't fancy & there are no commercials but I really recommend it cause its a great way to build up a collection cheaply--even if you've already been collecting for a while--you're likely to find eps you don't have already!

I saw a show called "Ricky Nelson Sings" on PBS this week. It was great. Missed the beginning, but his kids talk about him, and they show many of the songs he sang on "Ozzie and Harriet." And at the end his three sons sing "Garden Party."

I"m a fan of O&H and saw them many years ago on the Disney Channel. I only have a couple eps tho and wish I could find them on DVD. I don't care for the later eps where Ricky sings (even tho he has a great voice) or after the boys got married, I'm more interested in the earlier eps. Have any of the earlier eps been released to DVD?
Also, does anyone know the name of the ep. about the Tutti Frutti ice cream? Or the ep. where Ozzie dreams he has to go pick up Rick and ends up driving all over town? I'd love to find those.
Thanx! :)

I believe the tutti frutti ice cream episode is called Tutti Frutti Ice Cream.
I don't know about out in the stores, but Ebay always has alot of Ozzie and Harriet dvds available. A few sets have 50+ episodes.

well it seems like all the ones I've found on eBay are the later ones with Rick singing, or with their wives. I'd really like to find eps prior to that time. :) (I don't do tape trading either, as I have nothing to trade for and don't think it's a good idea. I'd rather try to find the eps on VHS or DVD.)

...out of the 400+ episodes produced from 1952 through 1966, Ozzie himself selected 200 of what he considered "the best" for syndication by the end of the 1960's....and that's the "package" available today. There were so many episodes, most of them fell into "public domain"....and that's why you're lucky to see those today. It'll be a long time before a "decent" set of episodes are available on DVD...it's up to David, as he owns the entire backlog of the series today.

I like the later Episodes better, from the 1960s or late 1950s Episodes.
