YES!!! Harry Carson finally made it! He deserved it so much.

I can't believe Warren Moon made it. He was a good qb, but not great. He never won a big game.

Solomon, how can you say Aikman didn't deserve it? He deserves it more than Moon.

Brian Troy could not RUN at all and was only good from the people he had around him. He wasn't nothing. If Moon had Emmit Smith and Michael Irvin he would have won 5 SB rings. Aikman was a FRAUD

You don't know that for sure. If that were the case anyway, you could say that about alot of Hall of Fame QB's like Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw and Jim Kelly.

Just because Troy couldn't run doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it. Their are a lot of great QB's who are pocket passers. Their were 3 parts of the puzzle that was responsible for the Cowboys success in the 90's and Troy was one of them. I was hoping Michael would finally get in but after his drug problems I figured he wouldn't. I am glad Warren Moon got in. I was always a big fan of his.

Aikman won 90 games in the 1990s, the most by any quarterback in any decade.

As long as he was WELL PROTECED he was ok, if he was being pressured by 300 pound defenders he was no good. He would curl up in a ball and say-"Please don't hit me hard"

Aikman knew how to take a hit. That was his problem. He got so many concussions he was a shell of what he was by the time he left the game. I was even calling for him to get benched in that last year because I was afraid he was going to kill himself. But in his prime their is not one qb of the 90's I would take over Troy Aikman. He just knew how to win and thats all that mattered.

IMO I never thought he was that great of a reciever anyway, every time he caught a pass he should have been called for offensive pass interference. He pushed more Dbs around than anybody i've ever watched.

He was the heart and soul of that Cowboy team. And I've heard all about he pushes off for years and all great receivers have done it. The fact is a veteran receiver is going to be given the benefit of the doubt anyhow. I think he'll get in but it won't be for awhile. Thats the price he has to pay for his off the field activities.

You're right recievers will push off, but not to the extent that Irvin did. Michael Irvin will never be in the same class as the T.Os Mosses or Jerry Rices.

TO will always be a joke and that guy pushes off twice as much as Irvin. The Media just happens to love him. The guy's never done anything except destroy 2 good football teams. Thank God he's not coming to Dallas.

I wish Art Monk would get inducted. At one point he was the league's all-time receiver. He got 3 rings. He should have been in there years ago. He gets no respect. I don't know why Jim Kelly is in there. The Bills lost 4 straight and he was an average QB. Thurman Thomas should have been there before that bum. Makes you wonder if race is a factor.

When they rank the greatest quarterbacks of all time you can be sure that on every list Aikman will be ahead of Moon.

And to say Moon could have done it with Emmit and Michael is ridiculous speculation. In one breath its the wide receiver and running back, in another its the offensive line. So it's everything but Aikman? That is a crock.

Who do you think was running that offense, that huddle, those drives?
Aikman is a winner, plain and simple, a leader.

You go ahead and take Moon into battle with you over Aikman, I can tell you most every head coach worth a damn wouldn't.

Great post. Troy was a great qb and the leader of a team that won 3 SBS in 4 years. He often made it look so easy people forget how talented he was. Yes the Cowboys had a lot of talent on that team but thats the way it is with every great team. Nobody does it alone in the NFL. I wonder when Its Emmetts turn if people will start saying he shouldn't be in. It was all that offensive line. If Barry Sanders had that line he would have won 5 SBS. I've heard that before too. It seems like their's always excuses when it comes to The Cowboys and the HOF.

In light of Warren Moon being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame today, there's a question that I hope somebody can answer. It involves something Moon has in common with another legendary QB - Dan Marino.

I noticed that there is always one big difference in articles about Warren Moon when compared to articles about another NFL great, Dan Marino. Both players have a lot in common in that they had great NFL careers but they never won the Super Bowl. But the difference is that in articles about Moon, there is never any mention of that. While in articles about Marino, there's always that pity factor thrown in about the fact that Marino is the best example of a great player who never won a championship.

I suppose one reason is because for Moon, five straight Grey Cups and two GC MVPs, a CFL MOP, a Rose Bowl and MVP, and one Pro Bowl MVP, and induction into both the CFL and NFL hall of fame is enough consolation for not winning a Super Bowl.
