Pregnant wife’s 15-year-old husband runs away
Woman, 37, had nothing to do with disappearance, attorney says

Updated: 8:52 p.m. ET Feb. 2, 2006
ATLANTA - A 15-year-old boy whose 37-year-old wife is due to give birth to the couple’s baby this month has run away from a group home, prompting the boy’s grandmother to speculate that the wife was involved in the disappearance.

The wife, Lisa Clark, who is due to give birth Feb. 20, did not play a role in the boy’s disappearance last Friday, said her attorney, Daniel Sammons.

The wife was “surprised and concerned,” Sammons said. “She has no knowledge of his whereabouts at all.”

The boy’s grandmother, Judy Hayles, believes the wife was involved. “I think she’s got him hidden out someplace,” she told The Associated Press.

She said the boy told his roommate that someone was picking him up and the boy left without shoes, jacket or money.

“That was his goal, to get with her,” Hayles said. “They were just obsessed with having him there when the baby is born.”

Sammons said he did not know when the wife last had contact with the boy, who was removed from his grandmother’s custody in late November.

Clark and the youth, identified in juvenile court only as “A.S.G.,” married in November. After being charged with child molestation for her relationship with the boy — her teenage son’s best friend — Clark was released on bond on condition that she not have contact with him.

Clark has said she still hopes to make a life with the boy and their baby.

Hopefully the cops will start searching in places where Dads are known to hang out.

Like the Mall, the arcade, the dumpster behind the 7-11...

This story sounds familiar. The 15 year old and the woman. I think I saw them on Maury once awhile back.

it's gross, but it's nice to see it's a case where the stepkids don't have any objections to the stepparent, considering most times, the kids loathe their stepmom/stepdad because they won't accept their parents with anyone except their actual parent.

makes me wonder if a lot of moms will pick their kids up from pre-school, and scout around wondering if there's a future husband in there. :barf:

i was thinking more if a young mom drops her kid off at a middle school dance, they might see a kid my age and think "should i propose to him or invite him over?"
