Why was it cancelled???

This show was the best thing to come along since "Seinfeld." I have lost all respect for NBC for giving up on this smart, hilarious show. Thank God USA knows a good thing when they see it!

This was a great show. But by the second season, it's not as funny and I remember the ratings weren't great. In addition, they moved it to Mondays at 9:30pm before it got canceled and was getting only about 4 million viewers compared to CBS' Becker with 9-10 million people watching.

I think if they would've moved it from Mondays it would've done better. I still wish it was on. Even though it losts its funniness, it was still a pretty good show!

Hope that helped a little. And I too have lost respect for NBC. There's hardly any sitcom that's good on that channel and if they would've just kept Working(moved it to Thursdays), well then they might have had another success on their hands!

How can you people stomach this show? It was absolutely terrible! The humor was so dry that it was sad; I'm surprised the show lasted as long as it did, which is why I ask this question to the USA Network:

I loved this show too. But I haven't lost any respect for NBC. This shows ratings got bad. that's why it was canceled.

The show went from great to just plain awful in the 2nd season, thats probably the main reason.
