OK, I probably could put this on the music board but there are alot more people on here, and this can be for everybody!!
If you're married or have been married, what song(or songs did you use), for say, the bride & groom's first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.?
For those who haven't married yet, what songs would you want played at your wedding?
I really like:
Have I Told You Lately by Rod Stewart
Love of a Lifetime by Firehouse
I Finally Found Someone by Barbra Streisand & Bryan Adams
I Dreamed of You by Barbra
Grow Old With Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter

Being a movie and theatre nut, I chose such things as: "Somewhere" from West Side Story, "A Time for Us" from Romeo and Juliet (the Franco Zefirelli version from the 60's), and "Sunrise, Sunset" from Fiddler on the Roof.

I went to a wedding recently where someone sang that...it was gorgeous.
I like more classical style music at weddings, or at least songs without vocals. Pachelbel's "Canon" is the ultimate wedding song. It is SO beautiful. C. Saint-Saen's "The Swan", Bach's "Air from Suite No. 3", and C.F. Gounod's "Ave Maria" are also gorgeous piano and string quartet pieces that are perfect for weddings.
I also heard a solo piano version of Martina McBride's "Valentine" at a wedding once. It was also very beautiful.

When I got married, our first dance song was At Last.
And my father and daughter dance song was Butterfly Kisses. Even though it's like a country song (And my music taste is sooooo far away from country) But when I heard it I loved it.

I've never even thought about it. :( Maybe it's because my dad doesn't even dance.
