I know this is gonna sound stupid, but are any of the characters from the show gay in real life? Just wondering

Yes, The guy who plays the character "jack" is gay, and Megan Mullaly is has stated she is BI.

I didn't know that Sean Hayes (Jack) is gay! Where did you hear that?
And it's true that Megan Mallaly (I don't know how to spell her name!) is bisexual - she said it on E!'s Behind the Scenes: "Will and Grace"...I think that was what she said it on.

Sean Haes has never publicly stated his sexual orientation. He HAS said that it doesn't matter to anyone but himself. He also played a gay character in the film "Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss" (very good movie). Megan Mullally made the statement concerning her bisexuality in one of the following magazines- Advocate, Genre, or Out. Sorry, can't remember which.

I believe Sean Hayes is gay...I forget when he said it, or IF he did, but my friend knows people in the cast, and the possibility is something like 95% that he is gay. Course...the imdb says, "Playing gay on the show has left a lot of questions about his own sexuality, which he chooses to leave ambiguous." And yep, Megan Mullally is bi, like y'all said...she was married to Michael A. Katcher-casting director for "3rd rock from the sun" (pilot) "American Gothic" (1995) TV Series (pilot) "Larry Sanders Show" and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose"...but yeah there was the ad in that magazine about her saying she was.
I think it's funny that Eric McCormack plays such a great gay man and he's straight as an arrow! LOL, my friend wanted to date him so bad at one point. heh
Personally, I don't care if any of them are or not, they do some darn good acting either way :D

These are just rumors I heard so don't take them all that serious.
First I heard Sean was seeing some English actor( a man) and then a few weeks later I heard he was engaged to some woman.
These are just rumors I read on some site, so they are probably not true. But I guess they are a little interesting.

Those are interesting rumors. I wonder if there is any truth to them.

Well, if Sean IS gay, it's all good. And if he is not, then that's all the more reason he deserves an Emmy this year!!!! :happyface :happyface :happyface

This is an extraordinarily old topic, but I must point out that, yes, I do think Sean Hayes is gay (along with Cheri Oteri, that'd be another topic, but they were @ some gay benefit together...) and I also must SPAZ about this revolution about Megan Mullally!!!!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: She's so hot aaaah :woohoo:

I know, really. It ruins it for them because everyone thinks they ARE gay just because they play someone who is. I remember watching an ep of SNL where Eric was hosting, and he said OVER and OVER that he wasn't gay lol...
