Sabonis was awesome, and was my favorite player at one time. He was an amazing player in Lithuania, and could have became an all time NBA great, had he not waited 10 years to come to Portland. When he was with us, he was playing on one leg, and with severe back problems, and was still able to rattle of a 14 ppg average. It's just a shame we never got to see him in his prime.
I agree with your other choices though. Iv'e never been all that impressed with those guys.

Ewing I always enjoyed, but his last few years, I didn't care one way or the other. How could you diss the Chief?! Sobonis was overrated and didn't live up to his expectation. Jermaine O'neal has a long way to go.
Dikembe Motumbo was the one who didn't excite me if I had to choose one.

Celtics fan here, so I gotta disagree about Parish. The baseball pass down the court to Bird... the little deke he'd give a defender, then step past them and jam it home... *sniffle* I'm gettin' misty here!
The others I can mostly understand. I like Ewing, but his game did tend to fall into a rut.
I haven't seen a lot of Jermaine O'Neal, though; what's the problem with him? Just to look at his stats, I'd have thought he'd be exciting to watch...

I'm suprised you didn't mention Rony Seikaly or Sam Bowie.

Solomon how can you put Shaq, Patrick Ewing, Jermaine O Neal, Robert Parish on your list? Jermaine isn't a center. He's a power forward but he plays center sometimes. Shaq, Patrick, Robert, Jermaine are very good athletes. I enjoy watching them.

Jermaine, Shaq, Ewing, and Parish all had one thing in common, "they don't have a lot of moves" All of them were ONE DIMENSIONAL

Parrish always played like someone who was 55 years old

That's probably because he was 55 years old. He played so damn long.

I hated watching Shaq play the other night. He just fouls people and they get fouls called on them.
