There are way too many Bowl games and the same schools are always in them. The only reason schools like Notre Dame and USC stay dominant is because they get prostitutes to sleep with the recruits.

It's absolutely ridiculous how many bowl games there are, I agree. When teams that are 6-5 are getting honored by getting invited to bowl games, you know there's something wrong with the system. I think only the top 20 teams should get bowl game honors, and that's it.

Did anyone else watch the Michigan/Nebraska game last night? They just about recreated the famous Cal/Stanford game 20 some years ago.
And yes, way too many bowl games.

How did they recreate the Cal/Stanford game? I saw when Nebraska cut it to 28-23. What happened after that?

Nebraska scored a couple more times, and it was 32-28 with 4 minutes left. Michigan could not score on their next possession, but they made Nebraska go 3 and out. They got the ball back with 14 seconds left at their own 40. 2 plays later, they're lateralling the ball all over the field, trying to make something happen. It was crazy, Nebraska players had already started running out onto the field, but the play was still alive. A tight end for Michigan finally broke loose, and ran it all the way up to..I think the 10 yard line before he was hit out of bounds. There were 8 laterals on that play, and they NEARLY scored, it was pretty exciting.

The only Bowl game I care about is the Rose Bowl for the championship between USC and Texas.

Even though the play was unsuccessful I still think it was pretty amzing how long it actually went on for. And that right before the play, my brother being a jackass said, "Watch, it's going to be another Stanford/Cal" and he was almost right.

I think any team who loses a game on a kickoff return should be removed from the league-lol There are no excuses when u lose a game on a kickoff retrun with undr 10 seconds left

As soon as that one player broke loose and was charging for the end zone, I jumped off the couch yelling "GO!! GO," eventhough I don't like the Wolverines. That would have been awesome if they scored.

I was hoping Michigan would win the game, in honor of that little kid who died, that they were playing for. Ironically, they were playing on the kids birthday. Had they scored on that final drive, it would have been the perfect ending. They did good though, and I'm sure the kid would be proud!! :)

It shouldn't even came to that because the ball hit the ground way back at the 30 yd line.

The sixth ranked Oregon Ducks just lost there Bowl game against Oklahoma tonight. The Ducks were 10-1 going into this game, while the Sooners were only 7-4. The Ducks were playing yet another game with there backup QB's, but still, The Sooners did good, and deserve lots of credit.

So? That just counts as a fumble, if you mean it legally shouldn't have come to that.

It was said this morning on ESPN that a flag should have been thrown because when the player tried to throw a lateral pass it hit the ground and that should have been it. Not pick up the ball and continue running like you are playing football in the park during your family reunion-lol-lol

Ha. I didn't know that was a rule. There should also have been flags for Nebraska running onto the field. I think Michigan may have done the same thing, too.

Well I'm surprised you didn't know. If a Football is being thrown from player to player, if it hits the ground or a player drops it, that's it. Play is Over
BTW: If you notice in the Cal/Stanford Game, the Football never ever ever hit the ground-lol
