It was interesting to see that at that point, Channel 9 was airing both TBHS and CB&F, given that there were some similarities between the two shows - both had a core cast as famous as the stars themselves, and both had TV, film and ad parodies. Other than that . . .

But I also see, having seen the syndicated TBHS shows on BBC America, that Channel 9 did some added cutting besides what was taken out for U.S. syndication. The Nov. 24, 1971 "Cruising on the S.S. Rumpo" sketch, for example, was seen intact on BBC America (judging from the A&E Complete & Unadulterated Set 1), but had some stuff taken out by WWOR - I wonder if groups like NOW had something to do with that . . . likewise, the bit where Benny as Andrew Gardner was reading "Playgirl" magazine before introducing the next news item in the Dec. 22, 1971 "News at Ten" parody was taken out by the station way back when.
