when you or someone you're with says something and you think they said something else, and it's far off? because my aunt was here and she said to me "get your shoes and socks on". and my mom's name is Susan, and it sounded like she said "get your Susan socks on". then my friend said to me "do you eat Italian squash?" and it sounded like he said "do you eat Natalya squash?" i have a friend Natalya, who is actually Italian. it is so weird. :lol:

these things happen when i am paying half attention actually. because if you are used to hearing names and you hear a word that sounds like it, you think that's what the person said even if it sounds really weird. :lol:

Happens to me all the time, a lot of times I do it on purpose though.
