The actress that plays Mrs. Bookman on Good Times played Haywood's mom on the pilot episode. She was in the hospital and Haywood quit school to find a job.

Irene I gave my brother the same gift. He was so surprised, he had no idea that the show was on DVD. I had a really hard time finding a copy. I will be buying another copy for myself.:wave:

I was surprised too. I don't even recall telling my daughter I wanted it. I am gonna ask her when she comes home how did she know I wanted it.:wave:

Hey Jrnygrl, what's happening? We need to see you around here more often too. Make sure you get your copy, or at worst, cop your brother's copy. :)
