Do you get one? My husband got one this week. It was pretty good, and we're not complaining.

Some companies are so generous. One of my best friends works for a Marketing firm. She got an $8,000 bonus! She makes 55 grand a year, so that's quite a bonus.

Her boss also took his entire company to Florida this past summer. My friend is the office manager and made all the arrangments. It cost 60 grand.

Other companies give nothing. I used to work for the Government, and while they didn't give a bonus, my boss always gave me a nice gift.

No. The movie theater may charge insane prices on everything, but it still doesn't give us overtime hours on holidays. :soapbox:

Unfortunalty, things have been a little lean for my biz this year, so i don't think I'll be getting any kind of bonus.

However, since things are going to be slow next week and my boss and co-worker will be occupied with some vacation time, I'm pertty sur I will get to stay home. So if I get paid for this extra week of time off, then that's all the bonus I want.

All I get for Christmas from my job is a $25 gift certificate for Butterball products, but I get quarterly bonuses throughout the year, so it doesn't bother me that I don't get a Christmas bonus.

I got a travel cup of some kind and a pedometer and a hand shake from the CEO. Whoopty doo.

Last year I got some truffles I wouldn't eat and lunch bag. My mom was hoping I'd bring home more truffles. I was surprised that I even got that, because I only worked 3 days before Christmas.

I had my 1 year anniversay on Tuesday, so I'm hoping for a raise. That'll be a nice bonus in itself.

At my company they did something different this year, we got $25 for every month that we worked there. I have been there for a little over 2 years. The least you could get was $100 and the most is $400. Plus this year they took taxes out of our bonus checks. Plus we all got a $25 gift card to a local grocery store.

Well, i got my bonus at work today. I don't have to work next week. And if I actually get paid for it, it'll be a real bonus!

Not at all! The corporation I work for is a multi-million dollar business and no bonuses, not even a Christmas party.
