There should really be a reunion TV movie for Welcome Back Kotter. This was a classic and one of the best TV shows ever made and it just doesn't seem right not to see what everybody looks like now and how much they've changed...any thoughts?

Sounds fun.
What do you think the sweat hogs are doing now? They were great kids, but didn't exactly have bright futures ahead -- realistically anyhoo.

I see Vinnie on a soap opera, LOL.

I did not pay much attention to the last season, to see where everyone was headed. i know vinnie was an orderlie. Based on washingtons personality throughout the series, how about an agent - like an actors agent, or maybe a sports agent, like on Arli$$. <G>

I know Epstein wanted to own a fleet of dump trucks. But I see him more as a teacher or running a community center. He could have really gotten it together, graduated from buchanan, went to college, Either Teaching or Community. I think he could do it. Remember, Kotter was just like Epstein, when he went to Buchanan.

Carvelli is probably a concert promoter or in prison
Murray is probably still in High School.

Freddie and Verna Jean are probably married.

Mary probably works in an office in the city and Arnold is a Mr. Mom.

Beau probably owns a river boat casino down south somewhere.

I think there could be not only a reunion, but a second series; a sequel. The premise: Arnold Horseshack returns to Buchannan High as the new teacher, right back in room 11. Kotter is now vice principal.

Needless to say, the new series would be called "Welcome Back Horseshack."

I think a Kotter reunion show would be fun, but does anybody honestly think they'd ever get Travolta to do it? Travolta's salary would be ten times the budget for the entire movie.

Kotter would probably be principal, as Woodman would have passed away (like his offscreen alter-ego, John Sylvester White) and putting up with an even weirder group of Gen X or Y sweathogs.

What would everyone else be doing? Any thoughts?

They could leave Beau out of it, thank you very much.

Kotter as principal, Epstien as the teacher, Washington as a sports agen, Barbarino being in a low paying job...

Yes! Cheryll, I could definitely see Epstein as a teacher.
