No you can't, not unless you're getting it from someone selling through Amazon Marketplace. It's still a Best Buy exclusive release, so that's the best place to get it.

I wonder if this dvd is still available at Best Buy????? I have wondered about this dvd because I've never seen it anywhere. I remember that Best Buy was going to have it as an exclusive only available at their store but I thought that was only going to be for a limited time and then it would be available other places also???? I bought my "Chico and the Man" dvd from Walmart for 9 dollars. I was waiting for "Welcome Back Kotter" to arrive at Walmart so I could buy it. I didn't want to buy it from Best Buy for the simple reason that they hiked up the price for the dvd because they knew that fans could not get it anywhere else so they would be forced to pay the jacked-up price. That really got me irritated.

Well, on their website it lists the price as being $14.99. And I seem to remember this was the price that I remember seeing listed on the announcement on TVShowsOnDVD.com a long time back when I first found out about Best Buy having this as an exclusive item. I believe that I paid 8.99 at Walmart for "Chico and the Man." In fact, it might have been less than that. I can't remember now exactly how much I paid for it but I do remember seeing it at the time and snatching it off the shelf convinced that I just had to buy it at that price especially. So as far as I'm concerned, Best Buy boosted up the price by 6 dollars because I'm sure Walmart would have at least offered it for the same price that they did the Chico and the Man dvd. Best Buy doesn't have to offer it at a lower price in order to compete because there is no competition to worrry about when they have "exclusive rights" to sell this dvd. That's what irritates me. Admittedly, I don't know for sure what price they are offering the Kotter dvd for in Best Buy because I refuse to go in there and pay that price but I just came from their website and it's listed as being $14.99. I was holding out on buying this dvd until it went to Walmart, or Target or someplace else where hopefully they wouldn't be charging so much for it. Maybe someone who has the dvd can tell us how much it cost in Best Buy.
