Jeff Garlin said that his former roomate when he was still living in his hometown of Chicago Conan Obrien was the funniest comedian of all time Funnier than Larry David and Eddie Murphy.
Well in his opinion Im sure Conan is and some of Conan's stuff is hilarious but theres no way he's funnier than Larry David. He may be funnier than Eddie Murphy now since Eddie quit doing stand up adult humor

Cona O'Brien is a bit past his prime now, but still very good, nontheless.

I was joking about Conan being past his prime. He's still great.

Ah...c'mon-they are totally different comics. It is like comparing Shecky Greene (don't really know if there is an "e" after the "n" or not) to Don Rickles...don't know where that came from but I think you know what I mean. I love both Conan and Larry in their own special way.
I never thought I could love a show more than Seinfeld and then along came "Curb" and I was totally hooked. I also have bust out periods of laughter sometimes when watching Conan. He has an effervescent personality and energy that is infectious so he shouldn't be dismissed too quickly.
Perhaps the best is yet to come from Conan? He is from New England and so am I so I am biased! HA! Larry's timing, facial expressions and ability to discuss difficult topics cannot be beat, however. I still don't get how he isn't respected among the "Golden Globe" crowd and hasn't won more awards. Whatever. Larry is a gem in my eyes!!!

IMHO Conan's an acquired taste of humor that I havent been able to aquire yet. He comes off more annoying than funny like Letterman.
But the Saturday Night Live Episode he did a few yrs ago I liked and it was funny especially the molecular man super hero skit and the white prize fighter to first fight a black boxer that was hilarious.
