This show wasn't syndicated for that long apparently. I know it started in Fall 1982 and I am assuming that it ended in Fall 1984 since I can't find any stations that aired it after that. It's spin off Benson lasted in syndication much longer and it still is via Screen Gems Network. The only local stations I know of that aired Soap were KHJ 9 Los Angeles, WTXX 20 Waterbury CT, and WCVB 5 Boston. I know that reruns were aired on ABC Late Night like 20 years ago. I wish they still had ABC and CBS Late Night. Some good shows.
It aired in Atlanta in the late 80's or early 90's on WGNX. Also Soap was on Comedy Central a few years ago on their regular schedule.

Actually, comedy central aired it up until January of this year at 7am-8am. It also aired late nights on WGN at 3:00am after the Facts of Life.

I rememember flipping around the TV and saw it on Comedy Channel a couple years past.
I never remember seeing it here in
syndication until it aired or while on Comedy Channel.

I wonder if there is a way we could get Screen Gems to put Soap on. SGN has a huge library of shows, enough to start an actual network that would rival TV Land. Soap is one of these shows. So maybe, if we wrote to SGN, they might put Soap on. Imagine how great it would be if Soap replaced The Jeffersons on SGN and led into Benson. That would be a great hour.

Marge: I feel terrible. The Van Houtens split up at our party.
