Hey I'm new I was wondering what you thought of Seinfeld in The Post David era? I thought it was as good as ever with a slightly different tone in comparison to the dark brooding days of larry David. Seinfeld mantained that comic edge and continued to produce classic eps like bizarro jerry yada yada and little kicks. Alot of ppl didn't like The Final season. I thought it was good and had some very unique eps.

Now I've only been on this board for a matter of days, but I'm looking through here, and I'm finding all kinds of great conversations that were just waiting to happen that never got responded to. This guy posted something on here in Oc-freakin-tober of 2001, and didn't get one single response.
I, too, feel that life after Larry David was just as good, if not better than the days that he was there. I am not saying that I didn't like it when he was there. I happen to think that he's a genius. I'm just saying that lots of people thought that it would be the death of the show with him gone. I'd say some of my favorite episodes are from the last season or so.
I think sometimes in the post Larry David era, and especially the last season, they got a little caught up in their own quirkiness - meaning they always threw in more outlandish gags, catchphrases and characters.
Still, there were some episodes post Larry, that like you guys said were brilliant, but sometimes it seemed like they were trying way too hard.
